Secluded within pristine forest near Quamby Bluff, Serenity Tent and Tranquillity Tent sit just moments apart on Tasmania's rugged Central Plateau, a landscape as wild as it is quietly restorative.

We think you'll fall for our safari tents as completely as we have. We've curated every detail of Rivendell Retreat for total immersion and comfort, from the crackle of the indoor fireplace to the steam rising off your outdoor bath under an open sky. Like the wilderness that surrounds it, Rivendell shifts with the seasons - a cocooning refuge in winter, and a canopy of stars and birdsong come summer.

Between the two tents, a shared common space awaits - a full-size kitchen and generous dining table set the stage for feasting together, while two lounge suites offer room to rest, read, or simply watch the light change over the bluff.

Book one tent for an intimate escape as a couple, take both for a getaway with friends, or bring the whole crew together with our cabin for a gathering of eight to twelve - however you arrive, Rivendell has a way of making itself feel like yours alone.

At the heart of Rivendell Retreat is a shared gathering place, designed for the moments when solitude gives way to company. A full-size kitchen - properly equipped, not an afterthought - sits alongside a generous dining table built for long, unhurried meals and second helpings (or second breakfast like Pippin would suggest!).

Two lounge suites offer separate spots to settle into, whether you're after a quiet corner with a book or a spot by the fire to compare notes on the day's walks. It's a space that flexes with the group, whether you've booked all three accommodation options at Rivendell together for a big gathering, or are simply booking a single tent for a luxury escape of your own - the communal space is yours to use as much or as little as you like.
